As I mentioned, the 
document as presented 
had a lot of defects (in 
addition to it being a 
rather lackluster offer). I 
know you all chatted 
about moving forward 
quickly, but we all need to

terms in more detail. The 
provision regarding back 
end is so off base, I 
suggest we address the 
other issues like price and 
term first. 
Also lease note that 
needs to reserve 
quite a few rights so she 
can proceed with her 
intended business goals of 
a podcast, Ted Talk, 
speaking engagements, 
and unscripted projects. 
Most importantly, if a 
creative work based on 
her book (only) is to be 
made, she needs creative 
input and approval so her 
life and those of her 
family are not distorted 
for the sake of the 
project.. 
Since you do not seem to 
be well versed in this 
area, you may want to 
consider engaging an 
attorney to assist on your 
end. This agreement 
should not have been fast 
tracked in this way, it is 
not fair to 
as I'm 
sure you understand now.
