Subject: Epstein interview updates
cza
All — we wanted to give you a rundown of (i) all the interviews we have done in the last two weeks; and (ii) where we
stand with some of the employees / potential co-conspirators. Descriptions are below:
Employees/Associates
•
(Employee-1 in Indictment): We gave a reverse proffer to Groff last week and she is weighing
whether to come in.
•
(Employee-2 in Indictment): We will receive an attorney proffer from
attorneys next week.
•
(Employee-3 in indictment): We interviewed her in Florida and learned the following:
met Epstein around 2004, while in her early 20s, through the modelling community. Around December
2004, Epstein offered
a job working as an assistant, which she accepted and maintained until early 2006. Her
responsibilities included running errands and scheduling massages and other appointments. According to
M
,

Epstein expected to have two massages every day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. MI and
were responsible for coordinating the Palm Beach massages, and
was responsible for
coordinating the New York massages. At some point, Epstein and
began having sexual encounters, but MI
was very distressed when discussing these incidents and was not prepared to describe them in detail during our
first meeting. The team believes these encounters may have been coercive and/or nonconsensual. At least some
of these encounters involved I= herself providing Epstein with his massages when they were in the Virgin
Islands. As a result,
was aware that his massages were sexual.
described how Epstein had two groups
of girls who provided massages in his homes: one group was of professional masseuses who gave actual massages
to Epstein's friends, and the second group consisted of young girls who were not professional masseuses and who
only gave massages to Epstein.
recalled certain details that signaled that girls in this second group were
minors. For example, she was asked to help find SAT prep courses for one girl, and she recalled girls mentioning
school and their parents. However, at her first proffer, she stopped short of acknowledging that she knew they
were minors.
•
Ghislaine Maxwell (friend / former girlfriend alleged to be involved in recruiting): The team met with her
attorneys last week and she is assessing whether to proffer with us.
•
(sexual partner / involved in massages / may be an abuse victim): Has retained counsel and
they have asked for a week or so to speak with her before evaluating how to proceed.

•
(former Palm Beach house manager from 90's through 2002):
recalled that things changed
dramatically during his last two years at the residence. Epstein became increasingly demanding, and staff were
told not to speak to Epstein or his guests, to avoid eye contact, and to leave the room when he entered.
recalled that, towards the end of his tenure, three young girls came by the house:
and a third girl. He believed that
was under 18 and was giving Epstein "massages," although he did not
know what this entailed. During this period,
was responsible for scheduling Epstein's frequent
appointments with professional masseuses. During the last several weeks of his employment,
was
hired as Epstein's personal assistant, and began taking over answering Epstein's phones. At the very end of his
tenure,
told Epstein that he should slow down, that "these girls" would get him in trouble. Epstein
remarked that it was fine, and that "these girls only care about money." When
left Epstein's employment,
Epstein told him: "I hope you keep your mouth shut."
•
: Retained Debevoise, which is going to give us an attorney proffer.
New York Victims

unidentified woman her outside her school on the Upper East Side. Provided nude massages to Epstein over
approximately a year, each time for $300 in cash. In fall 2002, while Ms.
was massaging Epstein, he asked
her to get on top of him, which she did, and
was the individual interviewed by NBC News.
•
: Gave Epstein massages at the Manhattan mansion on two occasions, during which Epstein
. She recalled that Epstein told her: "you look so young." She
brought a 19 year old friend to Epstein's house to give a massage, and recalls Epstein telling her not to bring her
again, because she was too old.

to cooperate with the investigation, but she was not prepared to discuss her experiences with Epstein that day.
•
First met Epstein through her older sister in 2007 (while Epstein was being investigated) at the age of
17. Epstein specifically asked
her age and told her, in substance, that they could not interact until she
turned 18. After her 18th birthday, Epstein began having
give him massages, during which he —

Between 2007 and 2009, Epstein had intercourse with her on multiple occasions; the first few were
nonconsensual. When Epstein was serving his jail sentence in Palm Beach,
visited him at his office on at
least one occasions and engaged in sexual conduct with him. In or around 2013, Epstein paid
$10,000 to
marry a girl whom Epstein wanted to be able to stay in the U.S. The two were married for about four years, then
divorced in 2017.
•
In the early 2000s, when Ms.
was 17 years old and working as a model, she was invited to
Epstein's house
a 19 year old model who was Epstein's girlfriend at the time. Epstein gave
and
cash to go shopping, and they purchased underwear together at the mall. They returned to Epstein's
house, and Epstein asked
to try on the underwear for him;
felt as though she could not say no, and
complied. That same weekend,
invited
to come to Epstein's house to receive a massage from a
masseuse. She was told Epstein would not be there, and so she agreed. Shortly after
undressed for the
massage, the masseuse left the room, and Epstein entered. He insisted that
